ANNA CHROMIK

Dr Anna Chromik’s research focuses on theories of corporealised subjectivity, relations between trauma, resistance and vulnerability in literature, art and theory, the semiotic in poetry and art, as well as feminist discourses of maternity in theory and art. Her major publications include a monograph on the discourse of modern subjectivity and body boundaries (Disruptive Fluidity: The Poetics Of The Pop Cogito, Peter Lang 2012) and an edited reader-catalogue devoted to Bracha L. Ettinger’s art and theory (Bracha L. Ettinger: Eurydyka-Pieta / Eurydice-Pieta, Muzeum Śląskie 2018). Anna has also curated a number of exhibitions and organized some cultural events related to contemporary feminist art, including Bracha Ettinger’s first comprehensive solo show in Poland (Muzeum Śląskie, 2017).
